I'm a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association, providing online and telephone counselling to adults across Australia.
I work particularly well with people who have reached a point where the life they've been living no longer quite fits.
You might be navigating a change you didn't expect, questioning what you want now, or simply feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward. Counselling can give you the space to step back, make sense of where you are, and explore what you want from the next stage of your life.
My experience includes running nationally reaching tele-mental health services providing mental health support to people in rural and remote communities as well as working in community counselling services and alongside psychologists, doctors, nurses, social workers and other health professionals. This has given me a practical understanding of how our wellbeing is shaped by the wider picture — our relationships, health, work, environment, responsibilities, and the circumstances of our lives.
I hold qualifications from the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors and the University of Queensland, but my understanding of change hasn't come only from study or professional experience.
Over the years, I've reached my own crossroads many times. I've experienced changes in direction, setbacks, loss, and times when life simply hasn't followed the plan. I know that what worked before doesn't necessarily work now — and that it can be difficult to see a way forward when you're standing in the middle of it.
I also know the difference the right support can make: helping things feel less overwhelming, bringing understanding, and making that next step feel possible.
I'm not here to tell you how your life should look. I'm here to help you work out what you want from the next stage of it.
