My approach is person-centred, collaborative and focused on what matters to you. This means that together we can explore what has brought you to this point and look beneath the immediate problem to better understand your experiences, patterns, identity and values — including what still fits, what may have changed, and what is genuinely important to you now. From there, we can consider different perspectives and possibilities, recognise the strengths and resources you already have, and identify practical steps towards your goals. The aim isn't for me to tell you which direction to take, but to help you find a way forward that feels meaningful, achievable and true to who you are.

When you book, you can choose between a video or telephone session, whichever feels more comfortable for you. I’ve worked extensively in telehealth over several years, so connecting with people this way is natural to me.
One of the benefits of online and telephone counselling is that you get to choose where you're most comfortable talking. There's no travel or waiting room — you might join me from your couch, dining room, backyard or private office, or even while taking a walk. Your pets are very welcome to make an appearance too! The important thing is choosing somewhere you feel comfortable, with enough privacy to speak freely and without interruption.
You're also welcome to bring anything that helps you think, reflect or express yourself — whether that's a notebook, journal, art materials or something else that works for you.
Sessions are 60 minutes and we'll decide together how best to use that time. We might continue with something we've already planned to explore, work towards a particular goal, or put the plan aside because something more important has come up. Counselling is flexible — our sessions can adapt to what you need at the time while still keeping sight of where you want to go.
